Lost Planet 2

Lost Planet 2
Lost Planet 2, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 was a good example of how to ruin the basics of the game, can make a big and rich third-person shooter-A hopelessly fun. How refreshing, then, that Capcom developer has addressed some of the shortcomings that plague the console release makes the recently released PC version of a lot more fun. Sports package still a number of shortcomings - and the mysterious story of a stupid, stupid online rewards and addiction often create difficulties for knockback attacks. Yet, a variety of settings and gaffes do not notice a big difference in Lost Planet 2: The gameplay in general. Actually, so do not be a mouse and keyboard controls that are easy when you turn up to the objective to help and change the cursor sensitivity.

This is not sci-fi shooter to end all sci-fi shooters, but it is a great achievement and a substantial body technique to offer comfortable accommodation for action junkies looking for something a little different.

This suite offers a lot more variety than its predecessor. You sprint across a variety of places and stunning visuals to bring the planet EDN III to life. Some areas are reminiscent of the icy planet lost original, including the prologue, which has a large standby Lost Planet: giant mechs known as Vital Suits (or VSS), called Akrid abroad with huge glowing orange spots (hint: they make above), and the snow flying everywhere. In other levels, showering red light industrial corridors, like lightning in the stormy seas and hurricanes sweep through the desert plains. There are many great opportunities to welcome and numerous attempts to vary the pace. During the game, would you rush through the desert on an accelerator roaring defy gravity in the darkness of space, and bring down a giant inside Akrid.

The first level has some special weird rhythm. They take a few minutes to complete, too often, comes to an end, as things seem to recover. Finally, the action set in a better rhythm and you begin to return to Lost Planet 2 different delights and oddities. May no longer claim the game famous for its frequent boss against the giant Akrid often loom over you. At one level, it can mean a huge multi-limbed creature born of water to another, it is two animals lizard paralyze you with sonic bursts, and so clumsy in your general direction. Like its predecessor, Lost Planet 2 is great at knock-back attacks. Monsters can send you flying backwards, which can be frustrating because it takes control away from you while you wait for your character to recover. However, the animation time seems to have been resolved, and other items have been changed to a much better experience.

The most notable improvement comes in at a level involving a high speed train attacked by a giant worm Akrid. On consoles, you had to face a series of terrible design elements of this plan, as absolute rotten friendly AI, a total of miscommunication, and a pair of turrets outrageous. Instead of dealing with a terrifying barrage of missiles, now you can set your sights on a flying gunship, which is much more fun than being hit by a train, again and again. Your teammates, while brain dead sometimes are less likely to run up against a door on the train will not be open. (Too bad that your enemies are humanoids still dumb as a box of rocks.) And the last phase of this level you need to load a giant cannon, fire, and towers human side, now identifies what you must do so via a robot voice-over, and interface points.

Given the imperfect IA, it is best if you take a few friends or strangers to join you in cooperative play online. Some games, especially against bosses giant, is almost epic in this way, especially with a full contingent of players. A player is in one of the many different types of mech suits, riding a mechanical side and the other drums oozing creature above with rockets. But even co-op not to be as simple as you want. There is no drop-in, drop out of games, so you can not attend a friend who is already in progress. More importantly, you can not participate in a buddy at all if you have not already played this. (If you want your friend to help you with the level of the train, but it is only in episode 2, it's a no-go.) Respawn system that gives players a limited number of lives apart , perhaps even frustration, but because they hit the back here are not as widespread as in other versions, it's a minor point.

Lost Planet 2 is amazing on PC, especially if you have a video card capable of handling his fancy DirectX 11 effects, but it works surprisingly well on a machine average power, even with many options cranked.

For example, the sonic assault of the fight Akrid double above much less frequent than in the console versions, meaning you spend more time shooting and less time typing on the keys while scowling so you can be free paralysis.

This episode first act, you can easily take advantage of driving the train behind the sniper rifle, is a total bore, but the rest of you enjoy working in dusty conditions, such as tip, all the while sniping enemies from afar, and mowing Down inside the suit mechs clashing.
