Mass Effect 2: Lair of the Shadow Broker

Mass Effect 2: Lair of the Shadow Broker
The beautiful and majestic T'Soni Liara was one of the many party members in Mass Effect memorable original, so it's disappointing to see her relegated to a decidedly secondary role in the following role play. In the last Mass Effect 2 is DLC, Lair of the Walkers, who finally gets to remember his old friend Asari - that is, when not busy blasting space Meanies attack apart. Liara is a welcome presence, but the main attraction of an excellent add-on is the environment electrifying battle out its final act. Lair of the second half of the corridor is the shadow struggle for survival in the hull of a huge spacecraft wrapped in a blanket of clouds stock. This configuration can also be a staggered even more impressive in the series, and the conflicts that arise as the search for a way into the ship provides a great advantage in a grand final.

And while it controls a mite steep, a short car chase through the dangerous highways of Illium the sky is another highlight, which also gives a great sense of place. Idiosyncrasies Mass Effect 2 is AI and cover related genes can still intrude from time to time, but these disturbances are minor. Lair of the Shadow Broker is a piece of quality content and a reason to return to the Normandy Bridge SR2.

Your first task is to go and look at Illium Liara you fill in some important details about his role in your resurrection and subsequent employment of Cerberus. There is some interesting information to collect here, but it is unfortunately obscured quickly, so you can put your plan into action the most important provider of information to find the mysterious shadow broker called and rescue Liara friend Feron. As is often the case, the mission having problems with too fast, and Asari Spectre named Tela Vasir becomes entangled in the growing Internet. The story is simple, but involves, in part because of some exceptionally well-choreographed cinematics. It is easy to point to an exciting biotic-heavy combat, as such a scene, but the subtle signals that a close-up transient of a pair of eyes guilty of helping the more reserved scenes are weighted equally. But the broker's Lair shadow is not always solemn.

When the story of a small show, as it interacts with various objects were thrown into action, taking cover behind objects that are clearly intended to hide behind, so that you can then pop out and explosive bouquet of enemies, which drops about you. The basic function remains the same as the main game, which means biotic powers run around, shoot the weapon of choice, and command your teammates to use their skills when the situation demands. As always, the combat is intense and satisfying, and as always, a wriggle their way some deficiencies in the process. Friendly AI is still difficult to make a good fight against the decisions, sometimes standing on surfaces make the shots rather than taking cover behind them. And the coverage is even more out of the glitch at times does not give you a pop when it seems that you should be able to do so.

In addition to this exciting tour, the lair of the first half of the Shadow Broker is big on fun, but the norm. This is the second part that raises the DLC for something special. The trip offered by the outside of a huge ship is enormous. Grey Ripple clouds against dust devils on the horizon and hear the wind Swoosh and the crackling of the electricity so far. It looks and sounds great, but is more than just eye candy: it gives a palpable sense of chaos, as if the communication you do not really know what might happen next. The steep slopes of the ship to help the dreaded tone - as, of course, not the enemies that swarm. The intensity increases until finally making its way into the internal security of the ship, where there is another battle against a boss expects you entertained.

You are not allowed to spend a quiet period for Liara, it is appropriate, because of your history of friendship and perhaps love. He did not join the crew as a permanent member, but does not diminish the value of this new addition to the universe of Mass Effect. Lair is the Shadow Broker earns time (more than two hours) and money (10 dollars or 800 Microsoft Points). If nothing else, buy from experience what is probably the best combat environment even more justly praised for his visual art.

Several outbreaks of humor, including a reference fun to use the original set of omni-gel is sure to put a smile on your face. And as you would expect from a game Mass Effect is storytelling raised by the voice acting and discreet emotional new music that enhances the dialogue, but never dominates.

But to attack the enemies in the right rhythm, the individual battles for many of them never dragged too long, are not as fast as they become successful. First half of the DLC ends with a battle against a nice boss, but the real focus is a continuation of the vehicle just before. The controls are not as silky as you wish, especially on the Xbox 360 version, and the entire sequence is more prior knowledge. However, this high-speed chase in taxi driving is encouraging, suggesting Blade Runner, or rather, The Fifth Element.
