Shogun 2: Total War

Shogun 2: Total War
When the first Shogun: Total War is released, the battles in real time made you feel like you're playing through an epic battle scenes from Akira Kurosawa's samurai film. Shogun 2 is like playing with a new remastered version of the game, which has both character dramas and great battles. Combining great graphics, intriguing general multiplayer features improved gameplay and a deep strategic countless small details that permeate the historical flavor and drama, Shogun 2 is a fascinating strategy game ever made.

As in previous Total War Shogun 2 games combine turn-based strategy mode with tactical battles in real time. Part turn-based game takes place on a beautiful card policy, even limited to the country of Japan (Hokkaido less), feels as epic as the map of the continent covering the previous editions of the series. It is on this magnificent 60-Province Map of Japan that you take your strategic decisions, manage your dynasty, research technologies, build improvements such as roads and farms, and lead your armies. When an army engages in battle, you can either use the auto-resolution or fight amazing things in real-time battles. The objective of real-time battles take the enemy, as an attacker and present as a defender. Anyway, you need to make intelligent use of the land and building of the unit, keep your flanks well protected and do your best for the morale of SAP enemy unit before taking over.

Shogun 2 rounds single-player campaign stands out for its merits in an excellent strategy game. You can play as an ambitious warlord, or a director, effective October 1 clan in Japan. Each clan has strengths that you need to manage, if you intend to capture the Kyoto, the capital, and to unify Japan, the new Shogun. For example, infantry Chosokabe upper arc, while Mori is a carpenter, and Hojo receive bonuses for building. Selection of the clan is easy compared to many difficult decisions that have to do during the campaign. An example is the focus of your research, which has been carefully divided into who and Arts Bushido (civilian and military tech trees, respectively). A strong economy is based on who should pay for the maintenance of a strong army, but tightly focused autocrat, so learned, can be a brutal militaristic feet.

These concerns, along with the constant barrage of special events and natural disasters are very problematic, but the sensitive issue of religion is added to this volatile mix. Nanban enable or European merchants in your city, you can land units with guns fuse powerful, but also opens your company uniform Buddhist Christian influence. The growth of the population is Christian, must be appeased or theme in a way. One solution is for the clan to becoming a Christian Europe to unlock powerful guns or rattles, but it would be public outrage and dishonor Buddhist population of the daimyo. The best course of action is to ensure that the majority of the population following the faith of the daimyo either by conversion or isolation. Angry religious minorities are the Achilles heel of any daimyo, grievances if religious and laity should be kept to a minimum for fear of bloody rebellions ruin your chances of becoming Shogun.

In Shogun 2, Generals add another level of strategy, and a popular drama. The generals have always been important to maintain morale in the Total War series, but have never had so much character as the second Shogun First, the generals now have a retention rate, and it would be conceivable to turn on you, especially if his wife is too ambitious ideas feed him poisoned. Therefore, you must find a way to retain them. You can give them important positions within the clan, or bring in your family through marriage or adoption (which works even if the general is only slightly younger than the daimyo). For example, a loyalty generally improves enormously when it was necessary to the economy of the clan. It is very important to keep the generals around as long as possible because their combat experience can be used for a wide range of new skills and benefit the supporters of the clan.

I liked that it was the people, just as a master samurai who gives a bonus to all melee units, the animals, as the lovable monkey, or even inanimate objects, such as the Go board, which adds to the overall command. These are all in addition to extraordinary properties, generals, battles, or to be taken during the marriage. "Fertile woman" feature, which ensures that the total number of fathers of a child, is particularly useful because they need to daimyo heirs to continue their legacy after his death. Son daimyo of children grow up to be faithful enough to the generals, so you want to be blessed with a large brood. In addition to the generals, all special characters, such as metsuke (inspectors), monks, ninjas, and Geisha, will receive experience points, levels of skill, and his entourage.

Another important consideration is time. The campaign map, armies suffer a significant loss when the outside of your area in winter, so you need to plan campaigns with the seasons in mind, or risk losing the freezing of the samurai. Similarly, the fleet suffered heavy losses in the exhaust, while outside the placid coastal waters. Time is also of great importance during the battles in real time. For example, guns fuse, and fire arrows are useless when it rains, and heavy fog can change the face of battle, which allows a diversionary attack dramatic controversy, further obscures the real threat that bides its time in dark fog.

Moreover, sound economic planning is necessary for success. Its economic potential for the construction units are limited by the types of buildings in the province. The size of a castle province determines the number of buildings that could be built there. For more than castles eat more, you must carefully plan your upgrade, lest they inadvertently cause mass starvation. Temporal prosperity is possible through trade relations with other clans honorable, but such arrangements rarely last.

For example, you could increase the overall capacity of poetry, the clan's research opens the bonus and the overall condition of the path to becoming a "living treasure" in support of the unbridled joy of any province runs. Alternatively, you can mold into a general fear of a tyrant, an expert in siege warfare, or close to unbeatable in the legendary warrior. The general and his entourage, which has grown from a few levels, it is equally versatile.

A Christian missionary, for example, can learn to become a scholar and research support from his clan's chi, or it can focus on proselytizing the Christian faith with his escort of notaries church and Japanese converts.
