Split/Second

Split/Second
Speeding down the runway of an airport in a shiny red sports car is cool, slide down a runway with an airplane out of control thundering towards you is crazy. It's the idea behind the Split / Second, an arcade game where your opponent is ruined by activating destructive hot spots scattered on the track. The frequent explosions, falling debris and the resulting tug of war between the riders are certainly a challenge, at least for a while. You cry with joy when demolishing four opponents at once passing through a gas station and complain loudly when a concrete beam crushed his car falls like a can of beer. These spasms are electrifying, but they are not durable. Once you learn the tips and tricks, the excitement dies. Then you realize that on the ramps and the shooting is a solid runner, but a dimension that is based almost entirely on a single mechanic.

This mechanism is not sufficient to stimulate Split / Second to the head, but still a fun racer with a lot of speed and lots of sparks.

Split / Second is all about power plays. As the 11 tracks zip (12 councils empty space to the possibility of downloadable content to come), you get the power drifting, drafting, and let in air. Once you gain enough energy, the icons appear, indicating the possibility of opposition by the activation of a destructive event. Pressing a button, a helicopter can lower metal pipes in the course, a crane can go sliding on the ground and rocks and stones may break a canyon wall. Otherwise, you can trigger a bridge that is lowered or raised to a door, opening a temporary shortcut. If it triggers a series of two power levels after completely fill the power bar, the devastation is even more dramatic. A piece of the road could collapse, changing the entire section of the course, which may cause the plane to huge barrel in danger on the track. Just be aware: You may be victim of its own power Thurs

The first time you unleash your new power on an opponent is impressive. The explosions and the screams are strong and unpleasant, and if you're driving a car lighter, stronger shock could send out of control for a while. You will not always prevent problems, however. Depending on your location and time of play to the strength of your opponent, you can not escape this huge obstacle in front crashes. If you've ever cursed the inevitable blue shell Mario Kart series, the key events in Split / Second would be bored. However, getting smashed rarely frustrating for several reasons. Firstly, causing power play are cleverly arranged, so it is not likely to get trapped in an inexorable chain of accidents. (It may come in the middle of more devastation and ruins immediately, but the provocations are rare.) Second, the game allows you to resume quickly after the race you have an accident.

Single-player campaign is structured around a reality TV show, where you have a competitor. Split / Second, there is little of the premise (which does not satisfy any of Peek slimy TV producer or bloodthirsty spectators), but each episode and the introduction of the credit sequence is produced so well that we look forward to what courses opens the next. Periods, and special events are the usual races and elimination matches, all eight participants. There are a few other states, however, worthy of note. In Survivor mode, you earn points by performing a series of semitrucks time circle. And 'fine print, however: These cars are explosive barrels down the road. Other trucks pass without destroying, the faster you accumulate points. Revenge in the air mode, you must avoid a helicopter missile attack long enough to trigger a power play that diverts the missile towards the bad behavior of the chopper. None of the characteristics of environmental destruction mode, which makes the Split / Second stay outside, but form a fun hobby and anarchic, however.

And third, to stand behind the package is not really a bad thing because it allows you to bust up the competition.
