Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Retribution

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Retribution
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Retribution is another self-expansion Dawn of War II real-time strategy / tactical role-playing game set for Warhammer 40000 universe. Chaos Rising, the previous self-expansion, we need DOWII property if you wanted to play the original game's multiplayer groups. Retribution is a step forward, allowing you to play all six pages of single-player and multiplayer parts of the game if we are one of the previous titles. To keep all the great and care for their problems in the past, Retribution is a must-have for fans and a great DOWII point of entry for new entrants.

The highlight of his campaign is retribution, which is in the planets that has suffered sub-sector of Aurelia. After decades of war and the demonic infestation, Aurelia was scheduled for destruction by the Imperial Inquisition. However, the true source of the problems the industry is corrupt Space Marine Chapter Master Kyras Azariah, and their destruction can stop the hand of the Inquisition and ruin sector rescue of fire. While the history of the campaign and an introductory video is decidedly focused on the Space Marines, the five other factions have their own reasons for opposing Kyras (beyond the desire to save themselves Aurelia). Their motivations are generally common sense, but the need for each faction to experience the same basic storyline takes occasional holes in the plot. A case of unnecessary violence Eldar Eldar is particularly inexplicable.

Whatever the six factions you choose to play as the campaign Retribution feels like a hybrid of Dawn of War II campaign, which focused on the micro level of a few units complete and a more traditional RTS. During each mission, you can assemble the resources to devote to build units or temporarily improve the appearance of your hero. For example, you can buff up the health of the Imperial Guard Bern Commissioner Lord and make him punch tanks to death, or you can have some tanks on your own. Also, when picking mission rewards, you must choose between entering the war more gear for your heroes and your army "more Killy" by releasing the types of devices or upgrades. This can be a difficult decision because Heroes are incredibly useful when micromanaged properly, especially if you carefully choose new skills while leveling up. For example, you may be able to take a swarming mass of Orcs slowing down time with a hero, while setting the area ablaze with each other.

Mission objectives are more diverse than in the original Dawn of War II, where many times to repeat the same maps and where the targets were usually to protect power generators or defeating a boss. In retaliation, each card is played once a year, with a mission of the Defense Force optional generator. Some of the boss battles in retaliation to offer more variety. For example, on one level, who are fighting an Ork tank that takes about 20 minutes to kill with conventional weapons, but can be harassed by the conduct of explosive barrels for disposal. Mission Other highlights of giant tank fleeing Ork Baneblade convoys ambushed, and escape from a planet in tears, orbital bombardment that separates them.

Although the campaign was generally excellent, suffers from some bugs, which occur almost exclusively when playing as the Imperial Guard, a new side of this expansion. Castor General Lord, the hero of the campaign the Imperial Guard, is particularly cursed. The second level is a scene where the bridge is destroyed, and certainly bodyguards Castor stuck in inaccessible ledges under the bridge. Unfortunately, Castor and his body guard is considered one of the team, so we caught up in trouble to destruction teammates. Moreover, using the special ability of Castor dropping the air tank on the battlefield to cause multiple defects in the maps where you normally could not make tanks. In one case, the game does not recognize that the mission was completed, the second, game-stopping message "Fatal Scar" is constantly open. Without tasks of these "tanks prohibited 'were bug-free.

Less problematic are the simplest stories, and Orks and Tyranids, who are motivated by a desire to get the Inquisitor's hat and an instinctive impulse to spend the entire galaxy.

If you're tired of micro-heroes and prefer good old tank column, you can leave behind most of the heroes on a mission to change a limit to the population grew and the powerful units of the honor guard can be reconstructed or strengthen free.
