Dragon Age II: Legacy

Dragon Age II: Legacy
Many call Dragon Age II had to do with its emotional impact. Hawke starring circle of friends grew, so their connection with the deal - but there was a connection of the game won in the long run. Two add-on can not afford a long-form structure, therefore, should have an impact on other aspects. Dragon Age II: Legacy made a valiant attempt to strengthen its relationship with Hawke, but ultimately it made little impression. Not that there's nothing wrong with a little fun combat and a good set of new pieces of armor. However, there is an outstanding legacy few moments, unless you count the seeds and other details that might have spoiled. This downloadable content is entertaining in its own blind way, but without a solid storyline to support, Legacy has no soul. Just go through the motions and nothing more.

Fortunately, some of these movements is calculated to face the problems of the original game. It is not necessary to return the Dragon Age II, the first recycling of environments, but the battle through the new brand. Most of these are typically narrow, dark-as in the corridors where we have already taken place, are officially a new, but too dirty and the family to produce a lot of emotions. However, some are bigger and the atmosphere. Dusty desert early to go to the Arena is surrounded by cliffs, the shooters and dwarves inhabit the catwalks above the main entrance to the area to fight. In the meantime, you can pull the levers to activate the traps that throw peaks in the unsuspecting bad guys is standing in the wrong place at the wrong time. Throw in Bronto charge or two, and you have an interesting combat scenarios, which keeps you going. These moments are fun, but they are also fleeting. Over time, the legacy of the level of suffocation, and you can count on the usual pounding the keyboard and mouse buttons to do battle with a lot of thought.

On some occasions, lead fleeing enemies you into an ambush, not administer all the challenges in the fight, but it's still a nice authentic touch. Unfortunately, these little delicacies sold off by bugs and relax performance dash. You can trigger a wave of enemies that emerge, but their arrival did not feel the least bit organic. A bunch of snipers will abound from the door - he just teleport in. This evil veiled ploy is quite common to attract attention to themselves. The bugs are too common. You can cut the health bar of a creature down to nothing, but the thing will not die, no matter how long you hammer on it. Finally, you may be able to destroy, but only after you kill a random Archer hiding in the corner and bombarding you with arrows. And it's not a single glitch - it can show several times. There are also remarkable sound bugs. Party members engaging story-related dialogue, regardless of any party jokes in progress.

The story, which holds all this together is a great fight, but not a single moment to make it special. Apparently, the paper constantly harassed by a gang of Hawke, and the company is not just a bunch of thugs looking for fun and profit. Hawke has something far more precious: the blood of his (or her) father walked through his veins. Soon you know what the blood so precious and what is the role of the father was not surprising in this world for so many years ago. You will encounter some 'new characters along the way, as the leader of the right mix Larius which seems at times just long enough to provide some of the history of the show before the move. If you like the Dragon Age series element in the selection, so you will be happy to know that it takes the part of the key conflicts in the confrontation before the trip that you do. The final boss would be an epic battle, but it's glitchy headaches.

You will return home after having fought a brief but heartfelt moment of nostalgia. It 'a shame that this is a gentle postlude has betrayed the routine meetings and negligent performance that preceded it. Why not combine the pieces into a coherent vision, the Dragon Age II: Legacy shines spotlight on a mediocre nature of its individual parts. This add-on works for pleasure, but not worth $ 9.99.

But at least the combat is fun to watch. If you play as a thug, you somersault and jump on the field. When you run in shoes that you Varrica unleashed a hail of arrows from his bow beloved Bianca.

The result: several characters speak at once, and you miss out on important things. And several major battles, the heat of battle suffers from large cracks and popping audio, or may decrease the volume suddenly, for no apparent reason.

The nature of the attacks makes maintaining precise control over the actions of his party a necessity, but his companions often refuse to follow orders so they can stay. And the same mistake that plagues other games can penetrate enemy in this case, which allows you to paste this abomination without a win, and force you to restart the battle from the beginning.
