Mount & Blade: With Fire & Sword

Mount & Blade: With Fire & Sword
The medieval world of Mount & Blade is a little more modern fire and sword. This set of developer adds Taleworlds weapons of cavalry charges and other feats of this franchise growing, altering the landscape, enough to provide veterans with a series of new challenges. When you throw in a new historical context and a more organized campaign, the missions are structured similarly to traditional role-playing games, has a strong following that will hook to many hours.

Setting realistic campaign is turning the focus more immediately evident and Sword. Unlike the original Mount & Blade from 2009 and 2010 follow-up Platoon, the new game will focus on Eastern Europe in the 17 st century. Some of the plot and characters are based on historical events and people in Poland-Lithuania during the Khmelnytsky revolt. But do not worry if you've never heard of it, you do not need history to understand the scope of what is happening here. Like the first two games, Mount & Blade, play a mercenary wandering the country in search of fame, happiness, and some people trampling hooves of fine Arab charger. The only real difference is that now you are treated with artists such as the Poles and Muscovites On the other hand, the inhabitants of an imaginary Calradia. Nothing seems more realistic, though.

Thus, most of the gameplay and interaction are similar if not identical to those found in previous games. The reason is easy to understand, however, focuses on five factions known history. Now, instead of walking into a totally free, you can head to the nearest village or town on the main board and accept the position of specific faction immediately to deal with taxes, keep the peace between sovereign belligerents, and so on. This allows you to get straight to the point and build a career as a mercenary haste. Some adjustments were also made to the financial sector. You can now create highly profitable caravan (also defended by the moving car in the fortresses of the time you are attacked by bandits) and keep money in banks to earn interest rates. Provide that cash with both hands and make a hiding place is a breeze because you can handle tens of thousands of foreign Thaler in the game in just one trip, as long as you find the right place to advertise your fur, velvet, and so on.

In general, however, you just have to buy in the south and north to sell, so you can make a fortune without trial and error too.

This increased focus on the cost of a certain sense of evidence is a feature of the franchise. As before taking a break from the story missions more focused and will try to win the daughter of a nobleman or enter a tournament, either on foot or on his horse, now you're stuck for general working man. Almost everything we do here for recreation is beaten to fight bare bow taverns, John L. Sullivan style. This extracurricular activity is appropriate given the way the world has been stripped of the sandy nature of survival, even if a single note as the elimination fades after a few episodes. Of course, life was pretty rough and Hardscrabble in 1600. It would have been nice to have this lesson more difficult to break the teeth of a drunk again.

Much of this ugly atmosphere has to do with the presence of firearms. In addition to standard sword, Warhammer, and arcs, you can now get down to business and whip out pistols, rifles and even grenades. As expected, this changes to combat. Much. Before you can ride horses and do a half-mad prosecutor enemy mobs, cut and stab the bad guys at will. Now you need to be more careful before engaging in such attacks, because most packages with enemies tend to have a rifle-toting Goon or three in a row that could prove your lights with a single shot . This extra precaution may be something of a killjoy at times, especially for those who liked the cavalry rushes in coasting you could get into a bit of fear in the band.

At the same time, the danger that adds more tension to the battle, a tactic the layer that makes you think before using these stimuli. The specific period of smooth-bore weapons used here are quite inaccurate beyond a few steps, so it's not like you can sit and play sniper. Braking power is not particularly strong either. A good suit of armor worn by the pilot or a booby standard can absorb enough damage so that the user is still slow. Above all, to recharge and require prolonged standing during the process, making it very easy to take an easy shot with a spear or a sword. All you have to do is survive long enough to close and spit, it's not true that much of a challenge, given the imprecise weapons Wimpy. It is very easy to carry aspiring snipers before they can pass through the stage of seed and lowering the burden of a new cycle.

Multiplayer games for a new mode called Captain unusual, it is a game Team deathmatch with human players control teams of bots. Installation is fairly simple, because it takes a dozen maps, and simply try to slaughter the bad guys, but the gameplay is more than the sum of its parts. Adding ammunition to fight the loan completely new dimension. Instead of going around to the gallop and the reduction or hacking, it's time to keep an eye on both of the enemy gunners, or the fire carefully and download if you are armed with rifles. Somehow, however, deals with risk factors, the enemy is better than the shooters such as musketeers. Charge is so heavy, even melee combat that is almost impossible to survive for long. If you do not shoot, and then cancel the download off the cover, you're bound to hit a horse, the actions that require a reboot to load, or go through some tough guy who has a long pike.

The game uses the same graphics engine of its two predecessors, which means that you are still sitting in the patterns of player pieces, a travel card that looks more like the greens at the local mini-putt to the topography , and the interface of a text-heavy awkward.

Mount & Blade: on fire is like its predecessors, still pretty rough and ready indie game. In this sense, it is also one of the many flashes of brilliance, especially if you open worlds and appreciate the intense, multiplayer only game. If you're comfortable with innovative gameplay, taking the front seat of the lower-end production values, this is one of the irresistible taste of a sandbox with the extra spice powder.
